FORUM!

Ok. I made a forum. You can see it here. If I haven't already sent you an invitation to join, you can send a request to join (please do!).

I think that it how it works... this is all new to me. I'm figuring it out. Tiny step by teensy step.

HELLO

This is knitting club, but a knitting night is more than knitting, it is also crocheting, paper snow flake making, mending,  pompom making, paper craft discussions, embroidering, book sharing, snack eating and over all good time to nerd out over our interests in crafting.

There is a Facebook group called Wednesday "Night Craft Time Adventure Fun," this blog will take over as the main source of sharing (future/past meetings, neat happenings around town, links to books we share and websites we like, etc...).

If there is a better platform to share this information on, please let me know.
(To coworkers: don't you wish we could have a bb for this?)
Would it be worth it to set up an online forum, closed to members, to post meeting times and addresses, contact info, plus pattern sharing etc... is there a way to set that up on here? If everyone has gmail we could make a shared google doc or calendar... information sharing and technology is nuts, there has to be a good way to share stuff without it just being public and without it on facebook.

This week we met at Sarah's house. It was a great time. It was Sarah R, Sarah B, Molly, Zoe, Shawna and me.
We made pompoms. A blanket was worked on, a hat was worked on, a scarf was started, a cowl was worked on, a fox with many eyes was worked on, and much more. We listened to The Cocteau Twins, Björk, and some Motown jams that were only ok.

The new Terra Spiced Chips are delicious and Barbaras Jalapeño Cheese Puffs are always delicious,  both were present. Also snacked on were frozen grapes and wasabi pea/rice cracker mix (in a cute pumpkin).
